This is another example in which I think citizens are taking a more active role in fixing the world when government isn’t the right tool for the job.Not quite, the suit was brought in a government court using government laws.

Say What? Did Scott Adams Notice the Hulk Hogan-Gawker Libel Case Took Place in a Government Court?

I'm not trying to take sides on this since I don't know the details of the case, but isn't this about a privacy violation, not libel? Was Hogan taped committing a sex act without his knowledge? I've heard conflicting accounts. If Hogan was taped in a sex act without his knowledge and the tape was then published without his permission, then I would say it's an NAP violation. But Gawker outing Thiel is not a violation of NAP.
