This cancer has spread to holiday greetings such as "Merry Christmas". I know for a fact children in one school are discouraged from writing "Merry Christmas" on posters or chalk boards and are told that "Happy Holidays" is preferred. Why? Because some children don't believe in Christmas and are offended when they see it written. That's the ostensible reason I was given. (I think young kids could care less) One teacher told me that "Happy Holidays" is a more inclusive term. By excluding religious greetings, censoring and possibly offending other children? I replied; to which this particular teacher had no response.
