This is a breaking story, return to this post for updates.

UPDATE 1

Expect protests? Riots?

UPDATE 2

A city judge,Judge Barry G. Williams, has found police Officer Edward M. Nero, not guilty on all counts brought against him.

He was charged with four misdemeanor charges for his role in the arrest of Freddie Gray last year. He was charged  with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and two misconduct charges.

Nero, 30, is one of six Baltimore officers to face charges in the case of Gray, who the prosecution says died in police custody a week after suffering injuries in the back of a police van.

What annoys me about this saying is that the protestors have already determined guilt before a trial. Sometimes justice means acquitting the acused. My understanding is that Gray died during the van ride. It's going to be really hard to pin murder on someone without more evidence. They might get a manslaughter charge against the driver at best. These people determine guilt based on a headline.

    1. Yet you're not annoyed that almost every cop is automatically presumed innocent and rarely convicted.
