The Virginia Republican convention is on-going this weekend in Harrisonburg, Virginia to assign delegates to the Republican National Convention that will be held this summer in Cleveland, Ohio from July 18 to July 21.
Donald Trump came in first in the Virginia primary. However, I am told that a plot led by Ken Cuccinelli, who served as attorney general of Virginia from 2010 until 2014, is underway that is attempting to send only Ted Cruz supporting delegates to Cleveland.
Trump came in first in the Virginia primary with 34.7% of the vote. Marco Rubio came in second with 31.9% of the vote and Cruz came in a distant third with 16.9%.
This is a developing story. Return to this post for further updates.
The fix is in.
