HILLARY CLINTON`S POTENTIAL VICE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE[THE CASE FOR CORY BOOKER] :
The pundits and speculators [me included] are touting various potential candidates as Hillary Clinton`s running mate come November. Among the prominent names being mentioned are Tim Kaine and Terry McAuliffe from Virginia, the Castro brothers Julian and Joaquin, Elizabeth Warren, Evan Bayh, and of course the dynamic Bernie Sanders.
There is one prominent name that could do extremely well on the campaign trail and under a Hillary tutorial structure, Senator Cory Booker from New Jersey. Here are some observations which work very well in Cory`s favor.
Cory graduated from Standford, Yale Law School, and is a presitgious Oxford University Rhodes Scholor. He is multi-linguial [English/Fluent Spanish].Cory was elected 2 terms as Mayor of Newark, New Jersey`s largest city. He once served on the platform committee for John Kerry`s 2004 Presidential run as well as President Barack Obama`s reelection Keynote Speaker at the 2012 Democratic Convention.
However, most importantly , Cory is rapidly gaining a reputation as a brilliant Senator on the issues who can most importantly work both sides of the political aisle . This attribute is most needed based on Congress` horrific 11% polling as a do-nothing ,polarizing ,disfunctional body. Here is my vote for the dynamic Senator Cory Booker for Hillary Clinton`s choice as her Vice-Presidential running mate. The New Jersey Senator`s outreach is extremely extensive and productive. He just may be a positive catalyst who can make a difference as Hillary`s understudy. You decide!
For the record, there is far from anything for a libertarian to get excited about here:
In a July 2013 Salon interview, Booker said that "there's nothing in that realm of progressive politics where you won't find me. He supports affirmative action and same-sex marriage. He is a supporter of the DREAM Act and the Patriot Act,
