Ben Carson will skip Thursday's Republican presidential race.
He said in a statement he does not see a political path forward after Super Tuesday.
It's too bad. Of all the candidates, I caught him saying a few things that actually sounded like he was beginning to grasp free market economics. He said good things about the problems with a minimum wage and about attempting to manage global trade. No doubt he was paying attention to free market-leaning advisors around him.
He, of course, was terrible on US interventions overseas and had an extremely overblown view of the domestic terrorist threat.
