Bill Gates Says Apple Should Help the FBI with iPhone

Steve Cook and Apple are making quite a heroic stand against the government and in defense of privacy against the state.

At the same time, unfortunately, Bill Gates continues to grow as an evil supporter of the state.

Gates told FT, “This is a specific case where the government is asking for access to information. They are not asking for some general thing, they are asking for a particular case."

“It is no different than [the question of] should anybody ever have been able to tell the phone company to get information, should anybody be able to get at bank records. Let’s say the bank had tied a ribbon round the disk drive and said, ‘Don’t make me cut this ribbon because you’ll make me cut it many times’.”

Note to Gates: The government does make banks cut the ribbon many times. In fact, they now also require banks to report "suspicious activity" before a ribbon can even be put around the account. Are you blind?

The state always attempts to expand.

  1. The fact that the shooting was done by blackwater bootjacks the government hires to do their dirty work, is a clear indication to make this a test case to further the tyranny and police state already inflicted on the public.

Apple is right to do this. The only ones that want is are the sheep that don't pay attention and the corrupted government.

  2. Butt out Bill, just because you threw your customers under the bus (for the snoops at the FBI, NSA, DOJ, DOD, etc) isn't a reason for every other company to do it.

  4. Steals Windows idea from Apple, tells Apple what to do.
It's a moot problem anyway, as back-door already exists, and has done for quite some time, under the guise of "problem solving".
