He will headline a roundtable discussion this morning at Genentech Hall at the UCSF Mission Bay campus and hear from regional leaders on precision medicine and the role of data in improving cancer research and treatment, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.
After the UCSF visit, Biden will head to San Jose to address the California Democratic Party convention.
While President Obama generally stays at the Fairmont Hotel on the top of Nob Hill, judging by the positioning of the Biden police protection, he is staying across the street from the Fairmont at the Mark Hopkins Hotel.
