Rand Paul: FOX Is Going to Destroy Me If They Don't Allow Me in the Top Tier Debate

The criteria for the next Republican debate on FOX Business News could shrink the debate stage to just six candidates, potentially pushing John Kasich, Carly Fiorina and Rand Paul out of the main event and into the undercard debate, POLITICO reports.

Rand is not taking the news well. “I won’t participate in any kind of second-tier debate,” he said on Fox News Radio’s Kilmeade and Friends. “We’ve got a first-tier campaign. I’ve got 800 precinct chairman in Iowa. I’ve got a 100 people on the ground working for me. I’ve raised 25 million dollars. I’m not gonna let any network or anybody tell me we’re not a first-tier campaign. If you tell a campaign with three weeks to go that they’re in the second-tier, you destroy the campaign."

  1. Poor Rand. Looks like he's going to cry. His comments make it sound like he believes in the labor theory of value. Sorry, Rand, that's not how it works. Your mixed message campaign and, frankly, your constant whining have resulted in low single digits in all reliable polls. It's time to stick a fork in your presidential aspirations. You're done.

  2. Oh Rand, what you could've been when you ran for Senate if only you were consistent with liberty like your dad.
