A judge and jury have already found that Mr. Benton was truthful with his statements to the FBI and acquitted him of any wrongdoing. It is disappointing that these prosecutors would decide to spends millions of additional tax payer dollars to further persecute Mr. Benton on charges which were previously dismissed for prosecutorial misconduct. The recent re-indictment of Mr. Benton further supports the belief that this is a politically motivated prosecution designed to serve a political agenda and has nothing to do with seeking justice.
