Though Lt. Kirk Wilson, a Colorado Springs police spokesman, told the Colorado Springs Gazette that the shooter had been “contained,” the department’s public affairs division said on social media that the situation was “still not stable.”
A different police spokesperson, Lt. Catherine Buckley, said it was “very much an active situation.”
“We can’t confirm where the shooter is at at this point,” Buckley told reporters.
A reporter from the Gazette said “multiple civilians” were hurt in the incident.

From the NYT: "Vicki Cowart, president of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, said the group had strong safety measures and worked closely with local law enforcement.
ReplyDelete"“We don’t yet know the full circumstances and motives behind this criminal action, and we don’t yet know if Planned Parenthood was in fact the target of this attack,” she said. “We share the concerns of many Americans that extremists are creating a poisonous environment that feeds domestic terrorism in this country. We will never back away from providing care in a safe, supportive environment that millions of people rely on and trust.”"
Yeah, that's right. When we kill babies, we do it in a safe, supportive environment.
People die in the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood *every* day, not just today.
Sounds like another Sandy Hoax event. I doubt any such thing happened at all.
