Except Trump seems to believe that 911 was an attack by Islamic radicals when it never was (i.e. Gladio B). So he's either part of the problem or clueless.
There is a certain naivete about his warnings and his current foreign policy prescriptions. Whether it's real or a cynical strategy is another matter. It is interesting to watch him use some of the official 9-11 narrative's absurdities as a bludgeon against his rival, Jeb. It also plays to a segment of the "conservative" crowd that still believes "they hate us for our freedumbs" and thinks "we coulda won all the wars beginning with Korea if the civilians in charge hadn't been so stupid or tied the military's hands."
