The first part of this video about "responsibility" is definitely lacking context. One of the most important elements of Rand's philosophy is the importance of self responsibility. I think the questioner would have been more accurate referring to the guilt she feels and the blame she accepts for the lives of others. Rand does not engage much on this point as she is more sensitive to someone "stealing" her opportunity to present her philosophy. She might have clarified the questioners point and in the process explained her (Rand's) philosophy but she did not. She did make some good points and its clear the questioner didn't really have a question but simply wanted to throw some blame at Rand which Rand decisively rejected.
