Police Place Kesari in Rhode Island at Time of the Break-In

Glocester, RI, Police Chief Joseph DelPrete is now confirming that the Glocester police department has placed Dimitri Kesari, a resident of Virginia, in Rhode Island at the time of a break-in into the Rhode Island house of the parents of 2012 Ron Paul Campaign worker Jared Gamble.

The break-in, first reported exclusively here at Target Liberty, appears to have been well orchestrated. Gamble's laptop was the only item stolen during the break-in.

In an elaborate ruse, Gamble's parents were lured away from the their house the weekend of the break-in.

Chief DelPrete now tells Leesburg Today that Kesari "was in Rhode Island at the time during that weekend." Target Liberty earlier reported that Kesari is a suspect, of the Glocester police, in the break-in.

Leesburg Today also reports that Gamble, who died at the age of 26 from unspecified respiratory complications, was Kesari's roommate during the 2012 campaign.

DelPrete says an attempt to talk to Kesari was unsuccesful.

The chief told Leesburg Today that his department has been coordinating with federal authorities on the stolen laptop case.

Kesari, who has worked for both Ron Paul and Rand Paul, is under federal indictment for his role in making under the table payments to induce a Michelle Bachmann campaign operative to jump and support Ron Paul's 2012 presidential bid.
