On Saturday in Seattle, Bernie Sanders drew 15,000 people. The following night in Portland, Ore., 28,000 reportedly attended. It's not that Bernie as president would do anything that much different than any of the others. It is that he would create a wave of interest in socialism. It would include capturing some who were once Ron Paul supporters I am not kidding,
Ron Paul recently posted a negative piece about Sanders at the Ron Paul Facebook page. Check out some of the comments below the post
Germaine Harms Ron, I liked that you were against the fed and foreign war and for legalizing pot, but Bernie is my man!!! I guess you are just another GOP pawn spewing lies and rhetoric. Go Bernie Go! #FeelTheBurn!!! Matt Quatraro Ron Paul supporters are FOR Bernie Sanders because he stands by his values in the face of criticism and isn't paid for by corporations. The current system is broken and Ron Paul needs to open his mind to some differing ideas that are meant to benefit the working class
. Mitch Stillman I voted for Gary Johnson who ran as a Libertarian and had the guts to get out of the GOP. The Paul's continue to suck at the Republicscum teet. This time I am 100% for Bernie. Social issues for Gary and Bernie are the same. Gay Marriage, legal weed, pro choice etc... On economics it's time to tax the 1% - feel the Bern!!! Levi Hudson-Smith They are more similar than different. I'd be a libertarian, but what we have is not free market capitalism and democracy, so it's no time for the libertarian viewpoint, except maybe taking down the Fed.
Bernie is a democratic socialist, meaning social libertarian, which is good enough for me. ##feelthebern
Mike Davis way to manipulatively use rhetoric to push an opinion that is plain false. Bernie is in no way ushering a war against supply and demand. rather, he is trying to more align with supply and demand by ensuring surpluses in many industries through inside-out government restructuring Sara Ulrich Sheesh people. At least Bernie (in my opinion...and you are free to have yours)is a decent option compared to the lot of clowns they want us to choose from. Nobody is going to be perfect. I voted for Ron because he wasn't a packaged product placed in f...
Anthony Spear Bernie Sanders for President 2016
Kijjiketchme Southern-Fox I campaigned for Ron Paul in 2012. I'm campaigning for Bernie Sanders in 2016.
Anthony Spear U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is a modern day FDR exactly what the people need!
Jimmy Beard I liked Ron Paul and still do.i badly wanted him to be POTUS.Instead ever one voted for Obama and Romney. My choice now is BERNIE SANDERS!
Ruben Valas I voted for Ron Paul twice because I'm afraid of big government. I'll vote for Bernie Sanders because I'm afraid of big business. Both are scary, but in the past 4 years big business has taken 99% of the new wealth created in this country. They own th
Patrick White Sanders is the one person running for President that looks to be willing to work with all members of Congress. Beyond that, he has something that we all loved in Ron Paul: Authenticity and Anti-establishment appeal. He isn't bought and sold by mega corporations that just want to damage America. U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders has, in my opinion, real ideas about how we can reunite our country and get us back to work.
Gerald Bauer You're crazy - U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is the only hope the United States has against a greater threat than terrorism, and that's oligarchy. A nation state (which we are not by definition of our trade agreements) practicing unlimited free market ca.
Cameron Brown I supported you in '08, but you've officially lost me, sir. Sanders is a patriot and is exactly what this country needs. Meanwhile, god help us if your son wins.Bernie Sanders must be stopped by every political means possible.

UPDATE
WSJ reports the commie drew a crowd of 27,500 in Los Angeles.
I see that most of these good folks are well schooled in "Incoherent Rambling 101" as well as demonstrating a fine familiarity with the wildly famous "You And Your Strawman for Dummies".
ReplyDeleteHey, they want more government? Guess what, "The Burn" will give it to 'em good and hard!!
ReplyDeleteBTW Bob,
ReplyDeleteWhat does it say about these people that can support two candidates with such opposite views? It was not about Rons freedom message for them, it was about bringing down the establishment. They were never on our side. This is just a "soak the rich" movement and nothing else. Dont worry about them hearing The Burns message. They're already socialists.
Yup. I'm sorry to say that the two biggest players here seem to be envy and ignorance.
DeleteI like how one of these cowardly morons said, "I guess you are just another GOP pawn spewing lies and rhetoric". Yes, let's just forget that Ron Paul constantly voted against so much of what the GOP did. Let's just forget that he has endlessly condemned the neocons and their imperialism. Let's just forget that he wants to end the drug war that the Rethuglicans love so much. Let's just hate him because he's not a mindless "soak the rich" type of person.
I'm just astounded at people's ignorance and envy these days. It's so sad and pathetic.
Let him win. Between him, Hilldogg and Trump who is least likely to start ww? Plus we get to watch baffled socialists pour brawdo on an economy that won't grow. Which is always fun.
ReplyDelete"Ruben Valas I voted for Ron Paul twice because I'm afraid of big government. I'll vote for Bernie Sanders because I'm afraid of big business. Both are scary, but in the past 4 years big business has taken 99% of the new wealth created in this country."
ReplyDeleteI guess what Ruben doesn't seem to get is that the .01% can get taxpayer subsidies and bailouts BECAUSE of big government. He'd only be cementing into place what is already there. But if he wants REAL socialism he can have Venezuela. I don't relish the thought of being unable to buy toilet paper and even food thank you very much. These ignorant people are frightening.
Sounds like these commentators weren't really all in with Ron to begin with. They supported his non-interventionist message and anti-drug war but obviously don't support him economically. The wide acceptance of Sanders' socialism and Trump's fascism draws parrallels to those in the 1930s who embraced FDR's, Hitler's and Mussolini's fascism it's quite scary.
ReplyDeleteIs this type of detection on par with switching from Wenzel to Molyneux or Kinsella?!
ReplyDeleteThey are, after all, the finest flower of the socialist education system. I'm sure their teachers would be weeping with pride.
ReplyDeleteI would be hopeful if Bernie wins that people could start breaking up this cursed monster instead of trying to save and reform it.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately due to public schools and mass immigration we have too many people believing in magical Free Stuff Fairies.
It is only possible to have some local pockets of freedom.
The nation as a whole is toast.
