Rand Deep Diving in Nevada

On Friday, One America News Network released its most recent 2016 Republican and Democratic Presidential Polling Results for Nevad.  The results show that GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump has a commanding lead of 27.7%, with recently announced Presidential Candidate Scott Walker in second with 15%. In third is Ben Carson with 7.8% with Jeb Bush a point behind at 6.8%.   Marco Rubio rounds out the top five with 5.4%. Undecided voters remain high at just over 20%.

Rand is only polling 3.9%.

Trump 27.7%
Walker 15%
Carson 7.8%
Bush 6.8%
Rubio 5.4%
Paul 3.9%
Cruz 3.7%

This is stunning, Just weeks ago Rand Paul campaign operatives were so confident that things would go there way in Nevada that they were pushing for "winner take all."

Obviously, Team Rand is not advocating that any more.

Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton leads with 55.4%, a 37.1% lead over Bernie Sander’s 18.3%. Clinton and Sanders are the only two candidates receiving double digit results. Coming in third and fourth are Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vice President Joe Biden.

Warren is at 7.6%. Biden is at 4.5%.

  1. It's amazing how politicians can work so hard, only to marginalize themselves. One could say that it takes a little moxie and a lot of luck to call the right push-button issues, but how hard is it to just be principled and build upon your father's principled popularity?
