Martin O'Malley's Healer Nation

By Chris Rossini

Democratic Presidential Contender, Martin O'Malley penned a foreign policy article for TIME.

Here's the highlight reel:
After more than 12 years on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, and after a global financial crisis that decimated our middle class, it is understandable that many Americans would like to disengage from the world. But our country’s security and prosperity demand that we be more engaged in the world, not less.
Looks like neocon Hillary has some neocon competition.
We must listen to U.S. military leaders who have long recognized that climate change is a national security threat.
Listen to the military on climate change? The U.S. military is one of the largest polluters on the face of the Earth! Let's pass on that.
We must recruit a new generation of Americans to exercise our global economic, diplomatic, military, and healing power in ways consistent with our values.
Yes, O'Malley used the words "healing power". Add that one to your copy of The Exceptionalist Lexicon.
We must lead the world by strengthening the American middle class and supporting the rise of a global middle class — free from want, and free from fear.
Even though the U.S. government (and The Fed) have almost completely destroyed the American middle class, O'Malley wants to take the circus on the road.

Free from want?

Free from fear?

How about free from government instead...
