Marco Rubio Raised $12 million

Marco Rubio raised $12 million in his first two-and-a-half months as a candidate, and enters July with nearly $10 million in the bank, his campaign says.

Remember, Rand Paul has not yet officially announced his money raise, though a campaign official leaked to Breitbart that it was only $7 million, Which puts him behind, Bush, Carson, Cruz and now Rubio in the money raise camp. But, further, Rand's leak includes money that Rand has raised for his Senate re-election campaign.

Close observers tell me that Rand may have raised as little as $3.5 million fo rjust  his presidential campaign.

If this is speculation is accurate, it would put Rand near the bottom of the presidential candidates in terms of money raising (His rank is already low at $7 million). It would also be quite an embarrassment, given that Rand had quite a head start with his father's mailing lists as a base of names to solicit for contributions.
