Rand is like a fish out of water, he has absolutely no understanding of politics, how to maintain a consistent message, the relative value of various segments of the GOP, or how to project a Cary Grant like sense of self assurance. He is literally starving for oxygen because he jumped into something that he never took the time to learn in depth from his father, because he had the outrageous notion that he could learn nothing of value from his fathers decades in politics.
I look upon Rand Paul as a name that will go down in the history of branding as being a rough equivalent of the Edsel automobile, a hideous piece of American metal that was cursed from the moment of it's conception.
Right about now Rand is awaking up at odd hours of the night in a cold sweat as the fear of looking like a complete fool burrows into his glossy mental image of himself.
