Bob:
Just read your piece about Rand and the flat tax.
I thought I would let you know how you can make an unforgettable impression about the "flat tax" with colleagues. The other day I attended a reception for a business school colleague who is retiring. At the reception was another retired colleague who taught political science for many decades at Ramapo. He told me that he never has forgotten my response many years ago to his question about implementing a 15% flat tax. He said I told him it was 15% too high! He then asked me if I still felt that way. I told him more than ever. He then replied, "that's what I like, constancy."
I lay out the case for a tax free society in my 1995 book, Tax Free 2000, which is still available at Amazon,http://www.amazon.com/Tax- Free-2000-Murray-Sabrin/dp/ B0064DI7IE/ref=sr_1_1_twi_2_ unk?ie=UTF8&qid=1434637312&sr= 8-1&keywords=tax+free+2000.
In response to Rand and the other tax reformers, we should make the case for a 0% flat tax.
