I had lunch today with Michael Edelstein.
He has been a Rand Paul supporter and I planned to give him a difficult time about Rand's call for a value added tax and his statement that the GOP should play down the Second Amendment.
But before I could get much ribbing in, he said,' "I think I am going to switch my support from Rand Paul to Donald Trump. There is something to be said for candidate who becomes a nuisance to the other candidates and is entertaining at the same time."

Ha Ha! He's right.
ReplyDeleteI'm not participating anymore, but if I was I'd certainly go with the candidate that every other candidate hates...that's a great qualification in and of itself.
Robert, I just want to commend you on the fine job you've done exposing Rand Paul for the phony that he is. Unfortunately, he's suckered a lot of our people in.
ReplyDeleteBob's articles are the ones I cite whenever I get into debate about Rand's commitment to liberty, he's been right on the money.
DeleteClarification: I support Rand Paul as the best against his even worse Republican challengers. If I vote in the general election, it will be for the Libertarian Party candidate, Gary Johnson.
