More proof of my theory that Hillary should be President---she is so easy to attack (Though this ad also boosted my ranking for Carly Fiorina. That is one scary face she has.)
Bottom line: There are no good candidates and there is little in the way of differences on issues between them. Thus. a libertarian should cheer for the candidate that will fuel the most hate and derision for the President and the office itself. Hillary 2016!

ReplyDeleteI had similar feelings last election after it was clear Ron Paul wasn't going to win the primary...my hope was that Obama would be elected because I thought he'd speedily destroy the economy to a degree that a reset would hit. Obviously I was wrong. The whole "there's a lot of ruin in a nation" thing bit me in the ass.
The economy is a very complex machine. It is generally more impacted by the Fed than anything else, unless you have very restrictive stuff like price controls that every one will feel at the same time.
DeleteThere was no genuine hate for Obama when he took office, as exists for Hillary. The hate is the thing, not the economy. Hillary will be hated by many right out of the box.
"unless you have very restrictive stuff like price controls that every one will feel at the same time."
DeleteI really thought that Obamacare would put the final nail in the US's fiscal coffin.

I guess I was mistaken in the belief that a poor economy would ratchet up the "hate index", I can see now I was wrong. I should have considered Japan. Your point is taken.
Carly Fiorina: Pot, meet Kettle.
ReplyDeleteAsk anyone of the many EX-HP employees (and even the few remaining ones) about HER accomplishments.
You will get an earful. And please make sure the children can't hear.
Who will be the president that will be in power to start a nuclear war with Russia... Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteI think there will be a lot of State hating no matter who wins the next commander-is-thief competition.
Unfortunately, the push in the ad is for more "accomplishments." Heaven forbid!
ReplyDeleteIt would have been a commendable ad if it had assailed all of her despotic accomplishments.
Accomplishments of those involved in government, especially foreign policy, can be measured in the number of corpses their policies and actions have created.
