Earlier today, Brian Ross on Good Morning America reported details of an alleged victim of sexual abuse by former House Speaker Denny Hastert. The report included an interview with a sister, Jolene, of the alleged victim.
According to Jolene, her brother, Steve Reinholdt, who died from AIDS in 1995, was sexually molested by Hastert, when Steve was in high school and Hastert was the wrestling coach at the school.
Now, what is interesting about Joelne's story is that she has been trying to get it out for years. Ross even admitted that Jolene took the story to ABC News 9 years ago!
So why is this story breaking now? Is this the start of a string of indictments that will paint the Republican party as filled with pedophiles?
Are Ron Paul Inc. members soon to be indicted, with some of the charges linked to pedophilia by one of the operatives?
At this point, it is clear that the FBI, and other government agencies, have an aggressive, on-going investigation into members of Ron Paul Inc.
There appears to be a link between one Ron Paul Inc. operative and a dead young man who worked in the 2012 Ron Paul presidential campaign.
The investigation is apparently looking at possible hush money payoffs that had been made and the possibility that an operative may have had underage gay sex with Ron Paul Inc. worker(s).
It is unclear how far along these investigations are and how much the FBI, and other agencies, have been able to tie down, but it does appear the investigations are quite exhaustive.
I hasten to add that there is no link at all to Ron Paul. And it is unclear how high up the ladder of Ron Paul Inc. the investigation has gone. That said, on a worst case scenario, things could break in a way that will be just terrible.
From underage gay sex, to Ron Paul supporters with curious foreign ties to a Watergate-style break-in, things are going to, sadly, get very interesting around Ron Paul Inc.
The ultimate target might be Rand Paul, not becasue he was involved directly in any way with the shenanigans, but becasue some of those involved have been close to Rand and are going to be under enormous pressure to flip and come up with anything in their wildest dreams that could link Rand to any kind of wrongdoing.

My guess is that they're saving the Ron Paul Inc. story in case Rand goes up in the polls close to the Iowa and New Hampshire caucus/primary. If you break a story too early, it loses it's impact after several media cycles, which is probably why they're getting all the bad press on Hillary out of the way now.

ReplyDeleteRobert, but isn't it your hope that they can pin something on Rand so he can be taken down? This would be wonderful for liberty, wouldn't it?? That way with Rand out of the way it will allow a REAL liberty lover to win the presidency like all of the other GOP presidential candidates!!
