Five people were killed and at least 22 others have been wounded – including an off-duty Oak Park policeman – in separate shootings in Chicago since Friday afternoon, police said.
It is hard to believe that some people actually hold the view that the government protects against crime.
According to the Sun-Times section Homicide Watch, even the new hip area Logan Square is becoming a murder hot spot.
