Ben Carson Supports Minimum Wage

Well, presidential candidate Ben Carson is certainly special. Packaged as a small government advocate, Carson is very big on the wars of the Empire and he also wants to increase the minimum wage.

Carson’s statement on the minimum wage draws a stark contrast from his fellow Republicans. Continuing on the subject of minimum wage, Carson said:

“In several states you can get as much or more on government assistance as you can by working a minimum wage job… I don’t necessarily blame people for saying, ‘Look, I can stay home and make this money, or I can go and work this little chicken job that doesn’t have many benefits.”
