South Carolina Poll: Walker, Bush Neck-and-Neck; Rand in 5th Place

In new poll numbers out for the 2016 S.C. Republican Presidential primary, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush lead the pack with 13.6% and 12.7% of the voters, respectively, if the vote were held today, according to the latest Winthrop Poll.

Ted Cruz came in third with 8.1% support, Lindsey Graham came in with 7.6% support. Kentucky . Rand Paul came in fifth with 6.2% support.

According to the poll, only 5.1% of evangelicals picked Rand as their top choice. He receivedthe top designation by  7.1%  of those who identified themselves with the tea party.

 38.9% of evangelicals said they would never vote for Rand.
