Privilege is defined on the banner as “a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group of people,” according to the photo obtained by Campus Reform.
“Examples include white, male, Christian, cisgender, and heterosexual privilege that you’ve probably never realized or thought about,” the poster reads.
“A decision to hire you won’t be based on whether or not the employer assumes you will be having kids in the near future,” the poster identifies as one type of “privilege.”
“You will not be penalized for not knowing other people’s religious customs,” the poster reads.
The poster was hung in Freshman North, a co-ed dorm at Marshall for first-year students, by Jessie Swiger.
According to a screenshot sent to Campus Reform by a student who wished to remain anonymous, Swiger, a senior at Marshall, bragged about her “last bulletin board” on her Facebook page.
Yes, the world is full of privilege for straight, white males. That's why the NBA is about 90% black (including thugs) and it's why there is a major presence by lesbians on television in positions as opinion molders, e.g. Oprah, Rosie O'Donnell, Rachel Maddow, Suze Orman and Ellen DeGeneres.
Not to mention we may soon have a president who is a switch-hitter.
And this is in West Virginia.
ReplyDelete"Privilege" exists to the extent that the NAP is not universally applied and enforced without exception. The "progressives" are the cause of most of the exceptions.
ReplyDeletePrivilege exists as the result of idiotism of Jessie Swiger and other such brilliant members of the society. They created castes of tax-eaters who have the privilege of living at others' expense.
