The Thought Police Catch One of Their Own

By Chris Rossini

The politically-correct thought police have a conundrum on their hands.

Champion progressive comedian Trevor Noah was just named Jon Stewart's replacement on The Daily Show. However, after the announcement, it was discovered that Noah had made some forbidden statements on his Twitter account back in 2011 and 2012:

Uh-oh!

Even champion progressives can't stay in the mental barbed-wire fences that they've erected.

And it makes no difference that he's a comedian, or that he made the statements 4 & 5 years ago. In the thought police's domain, it's as if Noah said it today.

You're not supposed to say "fat" or "chicks" or mix "Jewish" into any of your thoughts or words at any time....ever!

Apparently progressives are now fighting amongst themselves, trying to figure out what should be done about this. They're most likely rummaging through their protocols, analyzing who's offended, and maybe even contacting their distinguished congressmen for advice.

It's a very complex mental web that they've woven.

I'm glad I don't live in it.

  1. No, you don't know the RULES!
Once you've established your Progressive, or Gay, or Minority, bona fides, you can say ANYTHING.
If you're libertarian, or to the right, you can't say doodly-squat.
