I don't really have a problem like this. Non-violent drug offenders are owed a bit more than food stamps by the state. I'm a reasonably well educated middle class white boy with two lawyer siblings, and getting busted growing pot was incredibly disruptive. I can't imagine what it's like for a poor brown kid. I say use the police and prison guard pension funds to pay damages to all the peaceful people they locked in cages.
