Jennifer Rubin: "Rand Paul is Unlikely to Get Anywhere Near the Oval Office Except on a Tour"

Super-neocon, Jennifer Rubin, is not happy with Rand:
In a remarkable display of rudeness, prickliness and chauvinism, Paul tried to shush and snark his way through a difficult interview in which CNBC host Kelly Evans asked challenging but entirely appropriate questions. Telling a female host to “calm down” is worse than inappropriate — it’s dumb. As when challenged on issues such as hiring the Southern Avenger or on his plagiarism of others’ speeches, Paul becomes defensive and nasty in tight situations. His lack of self-control and inability to weather even mildly probing questions bode ill for his continued candidacy. (Indeed, while it is becoming apparent that he is unlikely to get anywhere near the Oval Office except on a tour, one does have to wonder what such a character is doing in the U.S. Senate. Is there no one less objectionable in the entire Bluegrass State?)

  1. Rand's real value is as a strawman to drag the liberty meme through the mud, and that will bring him a lot closer to the Oval Office than she thinks. Just wait for the televised debates...

  2. Rand if far less objectionable than the other Senator from the Bluegrass State.

  3. Why wouldn't a super-neocon be a nominal nazi?
