HOT Rand's Deadlines and the Problems It Presents

Here, put together by a friend, is the Rand timeline, as he faces the problem in Kentucky where a candidate is not allowed to appear on the ballot for two or more positions:
Rand would have to file to run for pres in  KY by mid to late Jan. 2016 -- Before he has competed in any primary or caucus - they now start in Feb.
See Wapo  on  this:
"The Bluegrass State has a filing deadline in mid- to late January every year for federal and state offices, and under the new national Republican primary calendar for 2016, the earliest caucus and primary states aren't likely to begin until early February. At the time of Kentucky's filing deadline, Paul will most likely not have competed in a single primary, so he won't be certain whether he is likely to receive the nomination."

If KY GOP decided to change to a caucus for Rand -  it will take #1 MONEY , organizational and admin. work. They MUST decide by Oct.  this year, so there's still plenty of time for bribes.  However, the Dems could challenge it in court.  See:

Just a reminder, Rand filed for the Senate in March 2011, as soon as he took office.
Also. SOS ALG and AG Conway will dog him every step of the way, especially in court.
Last, I saw no mention of the caucus effort on the KY GOP site today.

Last last -- Debates start in Aug.'15.
