The Ziplock Method for DUI Checkpoints

What the flyer says:

I remain silent
No Searches
I want my lawyer
Please put any tickets under windshield wiper.
–CPLR §308 & Pacamor, 132 Misc.2d 269 (1986)
I have to show you my papers not hand them to you.
–VTL §312(b), §401(4), §507

Thus I am not opening my window.
I will comply with clearly stated lawful orders.

  1. Note that the flyer language RW posted here is for New York. The flyer is different for each state. Go to FairDUI.org for other states.

    1. Thanks for clarifying that the flyer would be different for other states. I thought that this would work anywhere. I'm sure that this wording would be very different in Utah. Maybe I will check and see what it should be out here. I hate these DUI checkpoints. They make me feel very insecure. http://www.carterputnam.com/personal-injury/drunk-driving-accidents/

  2. And then the cop, pulls out his gun and fires several shots
through the windshield killing the driver. Cop is suspended
for with pay for a month and is ordered to attend sensitivity
    training.

We live in a police state and all the dwi flyers, lawyer advice and pocket constitutions
    wont make a difference.

Hate to see a black guy or minority lock his doors and attempt to communicate with a cop
through a window. God have mercy on him.

  3. I think you need to have a mounted camera and the cop needs to know he is being recorded. Cops are afraid of cameras. And if possible have the camera live upload the recording in case the cop wants to steal the memory card.

  4. Or you could just not drive drunk and then you will be on your way in a matter of seconds.

  5. The flyer would be different for different states. Finding a lawyer for your DUI can be the most confusing, tiring and difficult thing. There are lots of lawyers available out there and finding a good one can be quite a task. My cousin is an accountant at a DUI lawyer firm, in case you need any help let me know.
