Rubio Wins Straw Poll at Koch Sit Down; Rand Paul Finishes Last

In an informal straw poll of donors at a conference that wrapped up Tuesday, Florida Republican Marco Rubio  came out ahead of four other would-be Republican presidential candidates, Politico reports. Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul finished last.

The poll was conducted by Frank Luntz, a veteran pollster, at the conference, held in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Rand Paul — who received the least enthusiastic response from donors during a Sunday night forum of prospective candidates that also featured Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz — finished last in Luntz’s poll, said POLITICO.

  2. I think Walter block was right that Ron should shut up IF he wants his son to become president.
that's why I find it so amusing that some people think rand is a secret libertarian, given how little faith Ron has in his son.
