Rand Paul Joins Al Gore in AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) Propaganda

Rand is 1 of only 15 Republican Senators (including Graham,McCain and Corker) to vote for an amendment that states:

[W]arming of the climate system is unequivocal and each of the last [3] decades has been successively warmer at the Earth's surface than any preceding decade since 1850.''; [and] that-- (1) climate change is real; and (2) human activity contributes to climate change..

Fortunately, the psuedo science legislation did not pass, though it came pretty close.)

  1. Well Rand, if AGW is a problem I guess that means the Federal government is justified to tax and regulate CO2 emissions. This of course means that there needs to be more taxes/restrictions and regulation of energy usage. But let us all remember, just as the Randroids have stated, Rand Paul is the most libertarian senator in the last 150 years

    1. Rand has never voted for federal regulations. These regulations do not work and are unconstitutional. Read the Constitution.

PS - I am glad the earth is getting warmer, I live in Wisconsin where it is C-O-L-D.

  2. We're better off the way we are. If climate science were tractable then nation states would use it as a weapon against each other.

  3. If Harry Reid hadn't messed himself up on his treadmill, this farce would have passed.

  4. Somehow they know that average global temperatures are going to rise two-tenths of one degree in four hundred years, but they couldn't even get yesterday's New York snowstorm right.

  5. Climate change is "unequivocal"? Isn't that the position of the anti-warmers?

And then "(1) climate change is real; and (2) human activity contributes to climate change." I see. So the quart of milk produced by a farm upstate, processed by a factory that consumes and spends fuel, loaded onto a truck that that uses and spends fuel caused an uptick in CO2 production around the globe destroying the habitat of the blue-mottled tit mouse of East Timor? My apologies to the good men and women in East Timor who rely on the blue-mottled tit mouse for their daily sustenance. Oh, apologies aren't good enough? You want cash.
