"The movie industry is like the Rocky Mountains, the higher you get, the whiter it gets," Al Sharpton said in a statement released lthis afternoon.
"I have called an emergency meeting early next week in Hollywood with the task force to discuss possible action around the Academy Awards," he said.
The movie about Martin Luther King activities in Selma, Alabma , Selma, was was nominated for 'Best Picture,'
There is no word yet if Rand Paul will attend Sharpton's emergency meeting.
