The Empire Is Escalating on Multiple Fronts

By Chris Rossini

Daniel McAdams of The Ron Paul Institute reports that the Empire is now officially tossing more chains onto the back of the Russian bear. Obama just signed another round of sanctions:
The new law also authorizes $350 million to be spent on lethal weapons for the US proxy government in Kiev. Of course, the bill stipulates that the money must be spent purchasing weapons of war from American suppliers!
Apparently the U.S. government has now moved from supplying night-vision goggles and blankets to "lethal weapons," that must (of course) be purchased from the crony merchants of death.

Let's spin the globe over to Iraq.

Jason Ditz of Antiwar.com reports:
Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel has ordered “several hundred” more ground troops to the nation.

The Pentagon says around 1,700 troops are currently in Iraq, and that number was already poised to go up to around 3,000 within the next few weeks, mostly stationed in Baghdad and Arbil.

Increasingly, however, the US is also moving troops into the front-line in Anbar Province...
So the U.S. government has gone from promises of no boots on the ground, to 3,000 troops, and soldiers being moved into the "front-line".

Spin the globe again to North Korea...and...well, you know.

The Empire is clearly escalating on multiple fronts.
