Neocons CANNOT WAIT For 2015

By Chris Rossini

In case you haven't noticed, U.S. propaganda against Iran was on the quiet side in 2014. The Empire's media didn't let grass grow under their feet though. Instead of the Hitler of The Year being an Iranian Mullah, it was Vladimir Putin.

As exciting as the year must have been to for neocons to stick it to Putin, focus will once again be placed on that other rogue regime: Iran.

Iran propaganda goes through fits and starts:

- Slick Willy Clinton trotted out Madeline Albright to publicly admit that the CIA overthrew Iran's democratically elected leader Mossadegh, which ultimately led to the Islamic Revolution. It took The Empire almost 50 years to admit what everyone on Earth already knew.

- Then came W "The Decider" who had enough with that pansy stuff. He added Iran to his "axis of evil". The propaganda went on an upswing again. Who remembers John McCain singing "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" during the 2008 Presidential campaign?

- Luck would not be on the side of the bloodthirsty though. Obama in 2014 became the first President since the Iranian Revolution to speak with an Iranian President on the telephone. The propaganda has subsequently died down.

Needless to say, the neocon abolishers of evil have been getting anxious. They cannot wait for 2015. Senator John McCain will be perched as the head of the war committee, and Obama is not going to stand in Congress's way.

War-hungry Marco Rubio says:
“I think we’ll have a supermajority, a veto-proof majority, to impose additional sanctions on Iran and to require the administration to come before Congress for approval of any deal that [President Barack Obama] has with Iran.”
The intermission may be coming to an end.

The new Congress has all of 2015 to start cranking up the heat on Iran again, which will be followed by a Presidential election in 2016...an election that Republicans surely believe is theirs for the taking.
