Andrew Jackson, former U.S. President, who believed in sound money and who shut down the American central bank of his day, is quoted as saying:
“If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning.”Here's a modern-day version of Jackson's quote, provided by comedian Chris Rock:
"If poor people knew how rich rich people are, there would be riots in the streets"Jackson's quote is as true today as when he said it.
Chris Rock's, on the other hand, is very dangerous since it doesn't deal with cause and effect, and doesn't decipher between the crony rich and the non-crony rich.
As the monetary death spiral continues on its path, enough people have to understand Jackson's argument in order to reverse it.
If the erroneous Rich vs. Poor thinking takes center stage, it's going to mean trouble for everyone.
