America: Where Torturers Are Heroes

By Chris Rossini

The Week reports:
In anticipation of the release of a damning report on the CIA's use of torture following the September 11 attacks, former President George W. Bush said the participants in the brutal program were "really good people."

"These are patriots," Bush said Sunday on CNN. "And whatever the report says, if it diminishes their contributions to our country, it is way off base."
Are you one of the 92+ million Americans who are unemployed?

Are you also feeling "patriotic"?

Well, get off the couch and become a torturer for the U.S. government!

Your job description will be released by the press soon, unless some Congressmen find a way to delay it.

Now, it might seem a little rough for you to read at first. You'll just have to get out of your comfort zone. You're a "good person." Don't worry.

Make a "contribution to our country". Get out of the 92+ million.

W will always have your back.
