A Day (And Night) in the Work Life of Walter Block

As I reported yesterday, Walter Block is in San Francisco for a few days and last night he attended a special meeting of Circle Rothbard.

Walter provided those of us in attendance with great theoretical insights along with stories of his interactions with everyone from Ayn Rand and Murray Rothbard to Alan Greenspan. A great time was had by all.

At one point Max Paderewski asked Walter, what his schedule was like and when he found time to write.

Walter "confessed" he had trouble getting started writing everyday. First he said, he spends time answering emails every morning, , he then reads LRC, EPJ and Target Liberty, then he reads some columns on chess and then plays some solitaire (He claimed Ayn Rand played solitaire while she wrote Atlas Shrugged). He said he then, generally heads out for lunch, and maybe a swim. But, get this, upon return, he starts writing and stays in his office writing until 11:00 PM!
