The production was the goofy traditional Thanksgiving ceremony of "pardoning" a turkey.

Reminds me of the various scenes of pomp and circumstance in the Hunger Game movies...especially with his teenage daughters showing the world how stupid it all is.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to see the media trumping it up to teenage angst instead of actually stating the obvious stupidity of the whole thing.
Like Panem though, you can't help but see the underlying gov't message of Obama being a "benevolent dictator" type...mocking all of us underneath gov't in that he displays the power to pardon a turkey for all to see yet at this moment can't be bothered to find an actual human deserving of pardon.
