Lew Rockwell posted the below note he received from Bryan Stevenson:
Trying to promote freedom through political systems is like joining ISIS to change them from the inside.
It is a fool’s errand, and you legitimize the evil that you are trying to defeat.
That would be true in 99.99% of cases. But once a generation someone emerges from the political system who brings liberty forward by leaps and bounds, actualizing the advancements made by the theoreticians around him. When you identify that person, you have to support him. As much damage as Rand will do and has done, Ron has advanced libertarianism through the political system more than any other libertarian in human history. A little bit of light banishes a lot of darkness.
