Socialist Kshama Sawant Received Favorable Ratings in New Poll

They sure love interventionists in Seattle.

Kshama Sawant,, elected to the council last year with help from the Socialist Alternative party, scored a 50 percent favorable rating in a new poll by EMC research. Sawant's  favorable rating was among the highest among Seattle's council members. She was bested only by another of the council’s more liberal members, Nick Licata, who notched a 51 percent rating.

  1. I noticed she also had, by far, the highest unavailability.

  2. On the other hand, she scored the highest unfavorable rating. Not all bad news.
