Just What We Need, A Crony Political Operative as Ebola Czar

President Obama has named Ron Klain  the "Ebola Czar."

What are Klain's credentials for this position?

He is a political operative best known for serving as Chief of Staff to two Vice Presidents - Al Gore (1995–1999) and Joseph Biden (2009–2011).

As a lobbyist, Klain helped Fannie Mae overcome "regulatory issues." And he also was a lobbyist for Time Warner.

And here's a biggie in the career of Klain, he signed off on President Obama's support of a $535 million loan guarantee for now-defunct solar-panel company Solyndra.

He wrote in a emails to Obama adviser Valery Jarrett about Obama visiting the eventual collapsed Solyndra:

It looks like it is OK to me, but if you feel otherwise, let me know...

The reality is that if POTUS visited 10 such places over the next 10 months, probably a few will be belly-up by election day 2012.

So if Klain takes this type of logic along into his Ebola Czar position, maybe we will eventually learn of Klain emails that go something like this with regard to controling entry into the US of those who may carry the disease:

It looks like it is OK to me [to let them in the country], but if you feel otherwise, let me know...The reality is that if  some of the people visit over the next 10 months, probably a few people here would end belly up.

Klain's infectious disease expertise: ZERO. Klain's medical expertise: ZERO. But he did work for an investment firm that has a stake in Lolly Wolly Doodle.
