BREAKING: Amazon Web Service To Suspend Parler

Amazon Web Services plans to suspend the free speech social-networking site Parler from its web-hosting service.

Amazon said Parler had violated its terms of service because of its free speech-oriented content-moderation practices. In a letter to the social network Amazin added that it would implement the suspension just before midnight Pacific time Monday.

John Matze, Founder and CEO of Parler, issued the following statement:

Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.

We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.

This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.

  1. The next step will be to purchase their own top level domain and then get banned by ICANN. Better build your own internet because private property.

  2. The hypocrisy and double standards on display are making my head spin. So is the overblown and disproportionate response to this relatively mild event at the Capitol. Of course, it's totally a calculated, premeditated, dispassionate reaction by the Power Elite, masquerading as a fearful, self-defensive response. The only people whipped-up into true fearfulness and horror are the Democratic voters, all convinced we narrowly escaped the overthrow and downfall of Constitutional Republicanism.
