Suburban Chicago Hospital Halts COVID-19 Vaccinations Following Adverse Reactions

Advocate Condell Medical Center in the Chicago suburb of Libertyville, Illinois said four people who received the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday experienced a negative reaction shortly after the injection, reports NBC Chicago

The health center said as of Friday, three of those who experienced the adverse reaction are at home and "doing well," while one person is receiving additional treatment.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we are temporarily pausing vaccinations at Condell, which will allow us time to better understand what may have caused these reactions," the health center said in a statement.

Advocate is a 281-bed hospital and Level I Trauma Center.

It features a Heart and Vascular Center, wound care treatment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, several disease management programs including congestive heart failure and pulmonary rehabilitation.

  1. I'm trying to talk a friend out of being a guinea pig but she seems adamant. The long term consequences are completely unknown.

    1. It may sterilize her. Bill Gates rolled out a vaccine in Keyna that include sterilization as a nasty side effect. Accidental? Gates also is a big proponent of population control. Makes one think. Will it be any different with this Covid vaccine?
