Trump Withdrawing Troops From Germany (And Putting Them in Poland)

President Trump and Polish President Duda

Well, libertarian Trump fanboys, if there are any left, have gotten their wish. President Trump is pulling troops from Germany.

There is one problem, he is putting some withdrawn troops closer to the Rusian border--in Poland.

President Trump said Wednesday he will send “some” of the 9,500 U.S. troops he plans to pull out of Germany to Poland.

“Some will be going home, some will be going to other places in Europe. Poland will be one of those,” he said.

Of course, he might have just been trying to help Duda in a tight election upcoming in Poland on Sunday. There's just nothing like the U.S. meddling in the affairs of another country.

And get this, Trump spoke of “taking care of the Polish people once we have a vaccine,” which he predicted would happen “very soon.” And he once again said he expects it to be available for Americans by the end of this year and that he will enlist the military to distribute it.
