Heroic Italians Abandon Masks; Protest in Rome

Oh, this is great.

It appears that the "color revolutions" theme developed by US government global agitators has been taken over by the people---and for a very good reason: the freedom to breathe.

Hundreds of demonstrators have gathered in Rome shunning masks to protest against the Italian government’s measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus, reports TIME.

The leader of the group calling itself the  Orange Vests told the protest crowd assembled in the Piazza del Popolo on Tuesday that children shouldn’t be made to wear masks and he threatened to ‘’slap’’ anyone who did.

Antonio Pappalardo added that he refuses to wear a mask himself and said: ‘’These lungs mine. I will take care of my lungs. Breathing is sacred.’’

 Open the world!

 Let us breathe!

Choke the state!

  1. RW - thanks for the uplifting post. I sometimes feel inundated with fear mongering, lies and false data reports. This was a breath of fresh air.

  2. I have been inspired to poetry:

It is springtime in the city
    and the riots have begun
they came to cry for justice
but the looting's too much fun

The cops stand by and chuckle
    While the TV pastors pray
And talking heads with hair on fire
have scripts for what they say

    And college students all convinced
    the globe needs vast revision
have found it's best to throw a brick
    and get on television

    philosophers are quite convinced
    that to keep their subsidies
    they'd better back the rioters
    with rhetorical rhapsodies

And off in ivory towers perched
    on hilltops far afield
    a little gang of parasites
    enjoys the power they wield
