Some of the best science policy commentary during this crazed COVID-19-related lockdown is coming out of Stanford University medical scientists and the affiliated Hoover Institution.
The scientists there are not afraid to stick to science and to think logically about health policy.
Below Scott W. Atlas, MD and the David and Joan Traitel Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and a member of Hoover Institution’s Working Group on Health Care Policy, explains the problems with the current lockdown and its costs and points out the solution is to protect the most vulnerable, that is, the elderly with severe diseases, and free up everyone else.
This is a good one. (4 minutes 53 seconds)
