BREAKING Bernie Sanders Cancels Campaign Events After Heart Procedure

UPDATE 1


Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has cancelled upcoming events and appearances on the campaign trail after undergoing a heart procedure.

His campaign has announced the Sanders experienced “some chest discomfort” at an event on Tuesday.

UPDATE 2

From the campaign:

Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted. Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days. We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates.

UPDATE 3

The Bernie Sanders campaign has announced he will participate in the next debate scheduled for October 15 in Ohio.

  1. Let’s hope he drops out of the race. I have been seeing folks (libertarians?) praying for a speedy recovery. What?
    This guy has an ideology the same as Stalin. His ideology has murdered millions in the last hundred years and is killing people today.
    Pray he has a change of heart, but certainly don’t pray he gets back to quick health so he can keep up his tyranny. Geez. We would all be better off if this caused him to have to retire.

  2. Ive had a stent put in its not the big deal it once was and likely wont slow him down for long.
